Is Soapbox Launchpad a watered-down version of Soapbox?

You’re getting the same powerful content management system (Joomla!) as all our Soapbox clients.  It’s a powerful, easy to use, and provides you a great first step in the right direction.  Over time, we can apply a new custom design, employ new communication strategies, and even bring together other free services to make your site more powerful.

All this content management system mumbo jumbo sounds complex.  Is it?

Nope, we’re going to make the transition from your current site to Non-Profit Soapbox nice and easy, with examples, training, and a helping hand.

Will the website grow with us over time?

You bet.  All PICnet products are designed to be "scalable", as we call it.  As you grow, so too will the site.  You'll also be part of the PICnet family, so you'll get updates on the latest add-ons and services you can use to help your organization achieve its mission.

Will my Non-Profit Soapbox website easy to update?  Can I add photos of me with my new PICnet Penguin?

Of course!  It uses the same content management engine we use for all our organizations, Joomla!

What are the terms of this special Soapbox Launchpad Package?

It's pretty straight forward.  Your organization simply needs to fill out the application, and if approved, simply use a credit card for your discounted service fees with a one year commitment.  That's it!

Is this some marketing ploy?

This is not a marketing ploy, but we understand the root of your question. We're taking our fully developed Soapbox services and are awarding limited amount of service packages. We do this with an application process, an evaluation of the organization requesting the package, and an understanding of how Soapbox can support your mission in these tough times. Unfortunately, this means that not all organizations will qualify.

If we simply wanted to offer "discounts", we'd post a big "Sale" sign on our site. That would certainly save us a lot of time reviewing applications. But that's not the point of our Soapbox Launchpad Package. We want to provide the best Web technology available to non-profits and socially responsible businesses that really could use a helping hand this season, and at a price they can afford.

Great, this all sounds awesome.  How do I get started?  How do I get my PICnet Penguin?

It’s always about the penguin, isn’t it?  The process is simple!  Fill out our application for our Soapbox Launchpad Package.  If approved, we'll work with you immediately to get your site online.  It will take a fraction of the time to complete than it would if you tried to develop a site on your own or with some volunteer web designer, and it will be done right the first time.
